Rogers family BOSE Headphone Survey Contest Winner

Congratulations to our SEVEC survey contest winner Glenn Rogers! Glenn’s daughter, Veronica, participated in a bilingual exchange last year in Quebec City. “It’s one thing to teach French in an educational setting, but the best way to really learn the language is to be immersed in it and to use it,” Glenn explains. Glenn describes SEVEC as an excellent opportunity for young Canadians and he would strongly recommend others to participate in this exchange experience.

What others are saying

After my school exchange, I wasn't as shy anymore. I was more willing to meet new people and even talking in front of my class seemed easier. I really became my own person on my SEVEC exchange!

- Karine Déquier of Sainte-Anne, MB

This exchange program allowed me to experience many new things like a plane ride, public transport, NHL game, walking in a cave (spelunking), Hard Rock Cafe, first night in jail (we can explain!), first time to Parliament Hill, first time skiing on a real mountain...

- Myles Gallant of Cavendish, PEI

SEVEC was the highlight of my year! The trip opened my eyes to new cultures and experiences, which have increased my appreciation and knowledge of our country.
